定语从句和谓语从句的区别

没有谓语从句，这里做定语从句和同位语从句的区别。

定语从句 的先行词在从句中充当成分，同谓语从句的先行词在从句中不充当成分.这是最容易的区分方法.

eg: I was told the news that was published in the newspaper.(这里定语从句的先行词that在从句中做主语)

I was told the news that the president had been murdered.(这里同谓语从句的先行词that在从句中不充当成分，只是引导从句.)

同时同谓语从句的先行词只有that而且不可以省略，定语从句的先行词有多种形式，如that which where whose how..等等)
