同位语从句that和whether的区别

例句：That he is still alive is a wonder.他还活着，这是个奇迹。Whether he is still alive is a question.他是否还活着，这是个问题。

that 引导主语从句时，本身没有词义，但是由 that 引导的整个主语从句的意思通常是确定的。而 whether 本身有词义，表示 “是否” ，由它引导的从句的意思通常是不确定的。

由whether引导同位语从句和that一样对前面主句的内容进行解释说明，但通常表示假设的两种情况的选择。

例句：

There is some doubt whether he will come.他是否会来还不一定。

  &nbspanswer my question whether you are coming.你回答我的问题：你来不来。

   The question whether it is right or wrong depends on the result.这个是对还是错要看结果。
